For Tony Evans, it was a deep burning passion for photography that saw him leave his corporate career behind and realise that he wanted to wake up every day and do something that was worth it – and so his journalistic photography career was born, and he hasn’t looked back since.

 

With his genuine and down to earth nature and an ability to always remain cool under pressure there is no wonder Tony is in demand. In all the mayhem and adrenaline a wedding day can bring, Tony is a calming voice of reassurance. The best compliment Tony often receives is “I can’t believe you got that shot – I didn’t even know you were there!”

 

Tony feels there is nothing better than being invited into the inner sanctum of a wedding. Meeting a sweet couple after they have just become engaged, getting to know them and their wedding plans, then spending the day with them – it’s like being a bridesmaid and a groomsman all at once. Then to be able to deliver images to a couple that totally blows them away and brings tears to their eyes really tops it off.

 

When working with Tony, the day is about the couple. It isn’t a photo shoot and you don’t need to fit into his plans. Instead all he asks is that everyone works together to get exactly what the couple wants. From the bride prepping for her walk down the aisle until everyone hits the dance floor and it goes nuts, Tony is there every step of the way.
