We are Pavel and Vera, best friends, soul mates, husband and wife, passionate wedding photographers and videographers living on the Sunshine Coast travelling for weddings all over Australia and New Zealand.

Pavel started with wedding photography 10 years ago in the Czech Republic where we both originally come from. We moved to Australia in 2014 for a better lifestyle. Vera left her corporate job in 2017 and joined Pavel and so White Parrot Wedding Photography & Film was established. Since then we grew about two new members – our associate photographer and videographer.

What is our style?
Our style is darker, bit moody and photos are edited in such a way as to mimic film. Also, in video editing we use vintage film colour grading to achieve a cinematic look and style. 

How do we work?
We are very passionate about weddings. We like to meet personally or via Skype with every couple to chat about their big day. The more details we know about your wedding, the more we can be prepared (what to expect from your day and what moments are important to you). We help our couples with the timeline of their day to make sure there are no timing issues, e.g. ceremony being too late etc. We also put together a wedding guide with a lot of useful information about the wedding day, which we send to every couple who books us as a welcome gift. We are here  24/7 for you so you can ask anything you want.

We are not big fans of posing. It’s not our style. We won’t pose you or force into something you don’t feel comfortable in. Throughout the wedding day, we will try to take as many candid moments as we can. Our aim is to capture the atmosphere of the entire wedding day with all smiles, happy moments and tears. As we go for our session, we will guide you to get the best possible outcome but at the same time, we will leave you enough space to be yourself and express your real emotions. We believe this is the best way to achieve naturally beautiful photos capturing real love and energy. 

Why should you invest into a photographer/videographer? 
We know budget is important but remember this is the day that will not happen again. You invest in your venue, wedding dress, flowers, styling, hair, make-up, cake, food, drinks and all other things that will make your day amazing but they won’t exist in a year. All you will have are memories and your photos and video to remind you of your perfect day. We have heard so many times people regretting their choices of not investing in good quality photos and believe us we made the same mistake with our wedding. You can always cut your budget on other things but you shouldn’t do this with the only one thing which will remain for the rest of your life.

What packages do we offer?
We offer packages for elopements and intimate weddings and for weddings over 25 people - photography, videography or combined photography & videography packages. You can also add a second shooter, engagement shoot or drone. We can create tailored packages just for you.
