Hey!
I'm Matt Ashton.
My favourite part about being a photographer is the relationship that I get to have with my couples, sharing one of the most important days of their lives so far is something that is so special. I find that the more I get to know you the more epic your photos will be.

I'm based on the South Coast, but I travel anywhere, and I'm so excited to be your newest best friend!

Let me tell you a little about me...

Originally I'm from Sydney but I now live on the beautiful south coast of NSW. I am a qualified carpenter/builder and have always worked in the construction industry. Juggling the two careers is always fun, but at the end of 2019, I decided to dive headfirst into my photography business full time.

Let me tell you a little about how I like to shoot...

I'm here to capture the real stuff, the double chins, the laughing so hard your cheeks hurt, the big snorts, and the happy tears. I want to capture not only what your day looked like but also felt like. With my images, I try and capture the nature, genuine and unposed moments. All those in-between moments, moments which capture the love, fun, and joy showing who you are as a couple. I want to create long-lasting memories that you will enjoy and love for a lifetime.
I want you to fill up those empty walls in your houses with epic images!

I'm laid back and pride myself on being able to create a relaxed environment so that you can enjoy yourself and feel comfortable in every moment.  If you want someone to capture you in the same pose, smiling straight down the camera, and are not keen on an adventure, I'm probably not the photographer for you.
